Thibaud & Lauren in Capri, Italy

Lauren (from California) and Thibaud (from France) met and fell in love while Lauren was studying abroad in Paris. So in line with their love story was their romantic, whimsical wedding week in Capri, Italy, surrounded by their closest of friends and family. 

The week was filled with sunbathing, spritz's, picnics under lemon trees. The evening before the wedding day, they hosted a cocktail party in the Penthouse of Capri Tiberio Palace, decorated impeccably in 1960's decor. They served hors d'oeuvre and cocktails featuring fresh, local ingredients. Stunning views and a sunset accompanied. At the end of the evening, the guests received homemade soaps shaped and scented of lemons by the famous Carthusia. 

The next morning they got ready at Capri Tiberio Palace, and Lauren was escorted to her groom by a Capri "taxi" that was completely charming. Her flowers were white roses - in her hair, in her bouquet, even adorned on the trees at the ceremony location. They said their I do's  (in Italian, properly so) on a wooded cliff overlooking the sea. They took a boat ride around the entire island, rejoining their guests later that evening with a cocktail hour & a glorious dinner party under the stars. The tables were lined with dozens of peonies and roses and they dined on pastas and seafood.
