Calcutta, India

We were in Calcutta to spend time with some of Eurasia Coffee & Tea's field partners, two of the many non-profits abroad that they partner with. 

Our first day we spent at a vocational unit for women rescued from sex trafficking. Here they learned to quilt and sew. For their safety, we can't share photos of their faces but they were so beautiful. And those gorgeous textiles! 

Our second day we spent at a girl's home that took in girls who were born/raised in brothels. The girls were so excited to receive visitors and they gave us a full tour of their classrooms, their rooms, their toys, where they ate. They called us Auntie & Uncle and played games with us and followed us everywhere. Oh, my heart. I wanted to bring them all home. The photos I took of them are some of my favorite from the whole trip. Those expressions and personalities! Again for their safety I can't post photos that show their faces, but I wanted to share what I could as this day meant so much to us.
