Iceland

Iceland blew me away. I was there for just 2 days on a stopover from France, not nearly long enough. I flew into Reykjavik and quickly fell in love with it's charm. Cheerful colors adorned the city, and the people were some of the nicest I've ever met.

I went to the Blue Lagoon as soon as I arrived, straight from the airport.

On my only full day I took a bus all the way to Jökulsárlón Lagoon, which took 5 hours one way. We made a few stops along the way at Skógafoss, Vik, Skaftafell and Seljalandsfoss. 

Jökulsárlón Lagoon was right out of a dream, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I ate a piece of glacier-ice that was over 1000 years old!

It was a magical two days. I can't wait to go back.
